The main thing that we offer younger people in our church is JUNIOR CHURCH. This is like a more contemporary form of Sunday School, now offering many fun activities, audiovisual input, and various games and quizzes, in addition to Bible stories.

The predominant age range of Junior Church members is around 6-10 years old, i.e. most of the Primary School age range. Older children tend to join our Partnership Youth Groups, 'Phaze', G2G, and Café Base West. Younger children can be catered for either within the regular main Service or in a crèche (with parents helping to look after them). 

The Junior Church is run by a medium sized, enthusiastic and talented team^(*).     

Junior Church begins every Sunday morning except the third Sunday, at 10 am in St. Mary's Church. After sharing in our 'Family Time' , Notices and lively songs the children leave around 10:20 am and spend the rest of their time in our adjacent Stable Room. An ideal small classroom size! They sometimes return to Church to share in the final part of a Communion Service. On the third Sunday they remain in church throughout for an All Age Service, which involves them and their leaders.
